Finishing Equipment
HA-TEC supplies dry-filter, water-wash and powder coating booths for industrial finishing lines across Europe. Every booth is delivered CE-marked to EN 16985, with ATEX zoning documentation where solvent-based coatings are used, and commissioned on site by our own engineers from Sindelfingen.
We are an automation integrator first. A booth from us arrives ready to be automated later: robot-compatible geometry, prepared cable and media routing, and a control architecture that accepts a manipulator or vision system without rebuilding the enclosure.
What We Supply
Overspray is captured in replaceable cardboard or fibre filter media. The lowest-cost option to buy and install, suited to low and medium output or shops running frequent colour changes on small batches.
Overspray is washed out of the air by a continuous water curtain and collected as sludge. Higher capital cost and a water treatment obligation, but no filter consumables and stable capture at high, continuous throughput.
Cyclone or cartridge recovery returns unused powder to the feed system. Quick-change cartridge booths are built around fast colour change, while fixed booths suit long single-colour runs.
Gas or electric convection ovens matched to the booth throughput, holding the 160 to 220 °C range that powder curing requires. Supplied as batch cabins or as pass-through tunnels integrated with the conveyor.
Spray tunnels and dip tanks for degreasing, phosphating and passivation. Coating adhesion failures usually originate here rather than in the booth, so pretreatment is specified together with the booth.
Overhead monorail, power-and-free and floor conveyors sized to part weight and cycle time, tying pretreatment, booth and oven into one line.
EU Market
A booth can be built outside the EU and still be placed on the EU market, but the documentation has to be right before it ships, not after it arrives.

Installation and start-up are carried out by HA-TEC personnel, not subcontracted to a third party.
We integrate KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa and Kawasaki robots into paint shop cells. A manual booth bought from us can be converted to a robot cell later without replacing the enclosure, which is not true of most catalogue booths.
AI-based defect detection, sealant inspection and part detection can be added to the same line.

From Our Installations

Cardboard paint-stop filters across the full rear wall, with the extraction plenum behind them and lighting set into the ceiling. Filter media is the running cost in this configuration, so the bank is sized against the paint volume rather than against the booth opening.

Galvanised panel construction, with the supply air duct running the length of the ceiling and grating across the extraction floor. This is the shell a robot cell is later built into, so internal clearances are fixed at the design stage rather than discovered on site.

Circuit protection, contactors and solid-state relays for the heating circuits, with phase indication on the door. The panel is laid out with spare capacity so a manipulator or a vision system can be added later without replacing it.

Dry filter suits lower paint consumption and frequent colour changes, where replacing filter media stays an acceptable running cost. Water-wash suits continuous production on one colour family, where there are no filter consumables at all. The break-even is the cost of filter media against the cost of water treatment, so we calculate it against your actual paint consumption.
Yes. Every booth is delivered CE-marked with a Declaration of Conformity, an EN ISO 12100 risk assessment, ATEX zone classification and a German-language operating manual.
Powder for uncomplicated steel or aluminium geometries that tolerate curing at 160 to 220 °C, with unused powder recovered and returned to the feed system. Wet paint for heat-sensitive substrates, complex hidden surfaces, or where a specific finish or colour match is specified.
Often, yes. It depends on internal clearance, ATEX zoning and the existing ventilation capacity. We survey the booth and report on feasibility before quoting.
